Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Project Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical engineering projects from planning to execution. The ideal candidate will coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure project timelines are met, and manage the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems in line with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and execute mechanical engineering projects. Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. Prepare project specifications, technical drawings, and equipment layouts. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion. Identify potential risks and implement corrective measures to address project challenges. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Prepare project reports, documentation, and status updates for management. Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, and site activities. Conduct inspections to ensure work quality and system efficiency. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical project management or engineering. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, project planning, and quality standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and handle field/site work. Preferred: Experience in industries like construction, HVAC, manufacturing, oil & gas, or plant engineering. Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems. Knowledge of safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
