Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Mechanical Factory Manager to oversee all aspects of our factory operations. This role involves managing production processes, ensuring quality control, maintaining machinery and equipment, supervising staff, and enforcing health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, leadership abilities, and a proven track record in factory or plant management.

Key Responsibilities: Production & Operations:

  • Oversee daily operations of the mechanical factory to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor production schedules and output to meet targets.
  • Ensure all mechanical processes and assemblies meet company standards and customer requirements.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and lead production supervisors, technicians, and workers.
  • Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training and guidance.
  • Foster a safe, efficient, and motivated work environment.

Maintenance & Equipment:

  • Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and servicing of all mechanical machinery and tools.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for quick resolution of equipment breakdowns.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the production process.
  • Investigate defects or equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure compliance with ISO or other regulatory standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Inventory & Resource Management:

  • Monitor raw material usage and manage inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
  • Optimize resource utilization to reduce waste and control production costs.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports on production output, efficiency, downtime, and other KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of machinery logs, maintenance, and incident reports.
  • Participate in strategic planning and budget forecasting.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical production or factory management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing software (ERP/MRP systems).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
