Company: A Large Global Organization Key Skills: Autodesk Inventor, Solidwork, Oil, Gas & Manufacturing Domain Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor or SolidWork s.Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models in accordance with company standards and industry best practice s.Perform basic simulations such as stress analysis, thermal analysis, or flow simulations on critical part s.Participate in the engineering change management process and support document revision s.Collaborate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and product development meeting s.Follow industry standards such as ASME, API, and ASTM in developing mechanical design s.Support the manufacturing and quality teams during prototype development and testin g.Contribute to engineering automation efforts, such as iLogic scripting or configuration-based modelin g.Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including BOMs and material specifications, using PLM or PDM system s. Skills Requir ed: Strong foundation in mechanics, machine design, and materials scie nce.Academic or final-year projects showcasing engineering design, analysis, or product developm ent.Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks (certification is a pl us).Familiarity with basic FEA/CFD simulations using tools like ANSYS, Inventor Nastran, or SolidWorks Simulat ion.Understanding of ASME, API, and ASTM standa rds.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mind set. Preferred Sk ills: Internship or project experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, or complex design environ ments.Exposure to oilfield equipment such as valves, completions accessories, or surface sy stems.Knowledge of Tensile, Burst & Collapse Calculations, Mechanical Failure Theories, and GD& amp;T.Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and documentation co ntrol.Interest or experience in engineering automation using tools such as iLogic, VBA, or P ython.
