Job Description

Role Objectives

Design, develop, and oversee mechanical systems, components, and products.
Ensure all mechanical designs meet quality, safety, and performance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production, installation, and maintenance.

Core Deliverables

Create and review mechanical designs, CAD models, and technical drawings.
Perform calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
Oversee manufacturing, assembly, and testing of mechanical components.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting for mechanical issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and quality standards.
Prepare documentation including design reports, BOMs, and maintenance manuals.
Support project planning and execution within deadlines.

Skills Required

Mandatory:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA (2D & 3D design software)
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Knowledge of thermal, fluid, and structural mechanics
Problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred (Add-on):

Experience with FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, HyperMesh, etc.)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma
Hands-on with ERP/MRP systems
Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
M.Tech in Mechanical/Design Engineering (preferred, not mandatory)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
