Most mechanical engineers work in manufacturing, research and development, or at companies that offer engineering services.

Responsibilities And Duties

Interpret engineering drawing & make method Statements for all critical erection worksModularizations of erections of projects sites during tendering &execution StageKnowledge about erection tools &tackles & hydraulic equipment for erection .Must have worked at construction ProjectsTo ensure that the erection is done as per the drawings provided by the Engineering Department.To ensure that the work at site is done as per the safety norms.Ensuring proper and timely documentation to Client/Consultant/Accounts Department/Erection vendorsPreparation of supporting documents for erection invoices/supply invoicesHandling Project activities comprising site Inspection & Readiness, Erection, Commissioning and final plant handover.Have independently handled project activities from customer Inspection at our works to final payment release.Project planning and scheduling of project activitiesCoordination with in house engineering and customer operations group to deliver Performance Guarantee tests.Training the customer about Work Instruction & Procedures.Plan & Executing the installation work at customer site.Cost & Time control of the installation work.Ensure Safety measures during E & C ActivitiesRisk Mitigation during Site Activities.Inspection & checking of proper installation of Burners, Oil Pumping heating and filtering unit, Oil and gas valve rack, BMS Panel & Hot Air Generator etc.Testing troubleshooting of all the supplied equipment and dry run test.Review equipment submittals of commissioning scope of systems and approved compliance of the systems/equipment as per the project requirementsAssist procurement personnel in procuring mechanical equipment, materials and services, ensuring that the work produced complies with customer objectives and procedures
