📌 Job Description – Master Trainer (Food Processing Trades)
We are seeking three highly skilled Master Trainers, each with specialized expertise in Spice Processing, Pickle & Papad Making, or Jaggery Processing, to conduct high-quality training for rural women entrepreneurs.The role requires a perfect balance of theory teaching, practical demonstrations, and mentorship.🔹 Position OverviewTotal Vacancies: 3Trades (1 Trainer for Each Trade):Spice ProcessingPickle & Papad MakingJaggery ProcessingNature of Training: Hands-on Practical + Classroom TheoryTraining Duration: 21 Days (Residential Program)🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging theory sessions and live practical demonstrations in the assigned trade.Train participants on:Raw material selection and preparationStandard recipes, measurements, and SOPsHygiene, sanitation, and food safety (FSSAI standards)Small-scale production techniquesQuality control, shelf-life improvement, and packagingGuide rural women in developing micro-enterprises and understanding basic costing, pricing, and marketing.Maintain attendance, daily training reports, and training documentation.Ensure each participant receives hands-on practice and builds confidence in the production process.🔹 Who is an Ideal Fit for This Role?A strong candidate will be someone who:Is a subject expert in one of the trades—Spice, Pickle/Papad, or Jaggery.Has a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in food processing or food training.Has hands-on industry experience and can demonstrate real techniques, not only theoretical knowledge.Has prior experience training Self-Help Groups (SHGs), rural women, or community groups.Can explain technical processes in simple, practical, and easy-to-understand language.Is comfortable working in rural training settings.Is patient, motivating, and committed to the empowerment of Women.🔹 Educational QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Food Technology, Hotel Management, or M.Sc. ChemistryAdditional certifications in food safety, quality control, or FSSAI will be an added advantage.Required Skills & CompetenciesDeep knowledge of food processing techniquesStrong demonstration skillsUnderstanding of food safety normsBasic knowledge of costing, packaging, and shelf-life enhancementAbility to maintain training documentationGood interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups🔹 Compensation & BenefitsSalary: Commensurate with experienceFood & Accommodation: Provided by the organizationTravel Allowance (TA): Reimbursed on actual expense claims with billsWork Environment: Supportive, community-focused, and purpose-driven
