Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Sales Manager to lead our brand development and sales operations across India. This role demands a deep understanding of local regulations, distribution channels and evolving consumer preferences. You will craft and execute marketing strategies, drive sales in key accounts (five star hotels, premium bars and lounges), analyse market data and lead a high performing team to deliver profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand & Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans, campaigns and product launches to build brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Sales & Channel Management: Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships with hotels, bars, lounges and retail. Expand distribution networks and optimise channel performance.
  • Market Analysis & Intelligence: Conduct market research, track competitor activities and analyse sales data to generate actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Distribution & Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient product availability by coordinating with bottlers and distributors. Optimise coverage and service levels across regions.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train and motivate sales and marketing teams. Foster a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all state and central regulations governing the sale and marketing of alcoholic beverages. Stay abreast of legal changes and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to P&L management, track key business metrics and manage budgets to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Alcobev industry, preferably in managerial or territory level sales roles.
  • Proven expertise in brand building, campaign execution, P&L management and channel development.
  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and lead large teams.
  • In depth knowledge of Indian market dynamics, consumer behaviour and the regulatory framework for alcoholic beverages.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and senior leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
