Role & responsibilities

1. Industry Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of

    uPVC sheets, roofing sheets, cladding materials, and construction products

  • Knowledge of

    B2B construction market

    , channels, and buyer behavior
  • Familiarity with

    architects, builders, contractors, fabricators, dealers, and distributors

2. Technical Product Understanding

  • Ability to explain

    product features, benefits, durability, UV resistance, thickness, grades, warranty

    , etc.
  • Awareness of

    manufacturing process

    , installation methods & performance comparisons
  • Understanding of

    competitor products & pricing

3. Sales & Channel Development

  • Dealer/Distributor network expansion
  • Retail counter activation & channel management
  • Ensuring product display branding at dealer points
  • Building relationships with

    builders, architects, project managers, and OEM buyers

4. Digital Marketing Skills

  • Social media marketing (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Running targeted campaigns for

    contractors, fabricators, architects, and real estate developers

  • Website management & SEO for product keywords
  • Creating product videos, installation demos, and testimonials

5. Brand Building

  • Developing brochures, catalogs, POP materials
  • Product branding at sites and showrooms
  • Organizing

    exhibitions, demos, and product awareness campaigns

  • Ensuring uniform brand identity across all marketing platforms

6. Market Research & Intelligence

  • Monitoring price trends, competitor strategies & new launches
  • Understanding demand patterns in

    industrial, commercial, and residential

    sectors
  • Identifying new regions for expansion

7. Communication & Presentation Skills

  • Ability to communicate with

    architects, engineers, contractors

    , and decision-makers
  • Presenting product advantages in a technical and business-focused manner
  • Drafting marketing content, proposals, and reports

8. Campaign & Project Management

  • Planning seasonal campaigns for peak construction timelines
  • Executing dealer meets, product launches, field activation
  • Monitoring ROI of marketing activities

9. Negotiation & Pricing Skills

  • Supporting sales in pricing decisions
  • Understanding margins, schemes, and dealer incentives
  • Negotiating with vendors for marketing material production

10. Data & Reporting

  • Maintaining leads, conversions & campaign reports
  • Using CRM, Excel, and sales dashboards
  • Analyzing region-wise market performance

11. Vendor & Event Management

  • Managing outdoor branding vendors, printing suppliers
  • Coordinating events, exhibitions, trade shows, and training sessions
