Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bid Management:

  • Manage the complete bid process, including

    preparation, submission, and follow-up

    on commercial bids and tenders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
  1. Tender Document Analysis:

  • Review and analyze

    tender documents

    to understand technical requirements, commercial terms, and submission deadlines.
  • Identify key requirements and compliance criteria to ensure successful bid qualification.
  1. Technical & Financial Bid Compilation:

  • Compile comprehensive

    technical and financial bids

    , ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with tender specifications.
  • Prepare all necessary supporting documents, including technical datasheets, compliance matrices, and financial proposals.
  1. Specification Verification & Validation:

  • Review technical specifications in the tender documents to ensure they are accurately understood and addressed in the bid.
  • Validate technical data to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  1. Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate with

    engineering, finance, legal, and procurement teams

    to ensure the bid is technically sound and commercially competitive.
  • Facilitate internal reviews and approvals before bid submission.
  1. Costing & Pricing:

  • Work closely with the finance team to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Ensure cost estimates are accurate, and all commercial terms are clearly defined in the bid.
  1. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in tender documents and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
  1. Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain organized records of all bids, submissions, and correspondence related to tenders.
  • Prepare reports on bid performance, win rates, and areas for improvement.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience

    in

    commercial bid management

    and

    tendering

    within the

    transformer industry

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    technical and financial terms

    used in tender documents.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and ensure compliance for technical qualification.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and knowledge of bid management software is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in

    Electrical Engineering

    ,

    Mechanical Engineering

    ,

    Business Administration

    , or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in

    Project Management

    are preferred.
