Marketing Manager- Public Care

Role Purpose

The Marketing Manager - Public Care is responsible for leading marketing strategy and execution for Public care products across institutional, government, and managed care settings. The role focuses on driving access-oriented product launches, therapy shaping, and sustainable brand growth, in alignment with public healthcare priorities, affordability frameworks, and policy environments.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Public Care Strategy & Product Launch

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and launch strategies for public care products across government, institutional, and managed care channels.

  • Align product positioning and value propositions with public health priorities, tender requirements, pricing frameworks, and access pathways.

  • Drive launch readiness by coordinating communication, education, and promotional initiatives tailored to public care customers.

Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Collaborate with Market Access, Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Public Affairs, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of public care strategies.

  • Act as the marketing lead for public care initiatives, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and access strategies.

Market Research & Public Care Insights

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand public healthcare systems, treatment protocols, procurement mechanisms, and healthcare provider dynamics.

  • Identify unmet needs and access barriers within public care settings and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.

Therapy Shaping & Market Development

  • Lead therapy shaping and market development initiatives aimed at improving disease awareness, diagnosis, and appropriate treatment adoption within public healthcare systems.

  • Manage multiple strategic projects supporting long-term sustainability of public care brands.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, institutional decision-makers, and key opinion leaders within public care systems.

  • Leverage stakeholder insights to support evidence generation, policy alignment, and value communication.

Performance Management & KPIs

  • Define and monitor KPIs to assess launch effectiveness, brand performance, access outcomes, and market penetration in public care channels.

  • Optimize strategies based on performance data and evolving healthcare landscapes.

Brand Management

  • Manage branding and portfolio strategy for public care products.

  • Ensure brand messaging is compliant, consistent, and aligned with global, regional, and local strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Post-graduate MBA with specialization in Marketing from a premier B-school.

  • Science graduate preferred.
