The Position
As the Marketing Manager for Jardiance, you will be responsible for driving brand strategy, market development, and commercial success for Jardiance in the diabetes and cardio-renal space. This is a high-impact individual contributor role—leading projects and initiatives independently, influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams without direct reports.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual brand plans for Jardiance, including new indication (e.g., heart failure, CKD).
- Define and track KPIs, success metrics, and readiness frameworks for Jardiance.
- Aligning brand promotional campaigns and advocacy to Critical success factors
- Achieve brand market share targets and Top Line Sales with Integrated Brand planning/ Customer planning along with long term forecasting.
- Lead lifecycle management and ensure alignment with global and local objectives.
- Conduct market landscaping, competitor analysis (SGLT2, DPP4, GLP-1), and opportunity assessments.
- Translate clinical and patient insights into differentiated positioning and messaging.
- Identify unmet needs and value drivers in diabetes and cardio-renal segments.
- Develop go-to-market strategies including channel mix (digital, field force, CME, patient programs), pricing, and promotional planning.
- Drive HCP engagement strategies, omnichannel activation, and KOL advocacy.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure field readiness and alignment with Jardiance’s value proposition.
- Influence and coordinate cross-functional brand teams (Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain) for seamless execution.
- Partner with Medical Affairs for scientific engagement and evidence generation.
- Manage external agencies for creative, digital, and event support.
- Track brand performance, market share, and adapt strategies in real-time.
- Conduct post-launch reviews and implement learnings for future indications or campaigns.
Requirements
- Education : MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Life Sciences.
- 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with 2+ years in diabetes, cardiology, or related therapeutic areas.
- Proven success in brand management and cross-functional leadership.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience in diabetes, cardiovascular, or renal therapy areas.
- Familiarity with launch excellence frameworks and business case development.
- Ability to navigate hybrid and matrix environments, coordinating with local, regional, and global stakeholders.
