Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Responsibilities:

> Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to increase newspaper subscriptions, readership, and ad revenue.

> Manage promotional campaigns across print, digital, and social media platforms.

> Coordinate with the editorial team for content marketing initiatives and special features.

> Collaborate with advertising sales teams to support client campaigns and ensure performance targets are met.

> Analyze market trends, readership demographics, and competitor strategies.

> Plan and oversee events, partnerships, and community engagement programs.

> Monitor campaign performance and generate reports on KPIs (ROI, CTR, CPL, etc.).

Finance Responsibilities:

> Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

> Analyze revenue streams including advertising, subscriptions, and syndications.

> Track operational costs and suggest cost optimization strategies.

> Manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk management activities.

> Work closely with external auditors and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

> Provide actionable insights to the management team using financial data.

Qualifications:

> Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.

> 3+ years of experience in marketing, finance, or a combined role, preferably in the media or publishing industry.

> Strong understanding of newspaper/media operations and advertising models.

> Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Google Analytics, financial software, and CRM systems.

> Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

> Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
