Job Summary:

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Junior Research Analyst with a strong foundation in research, content writing, or journalism, and a proven track record in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting in-depth feasibility studies, market research, and analysis to support hospitality development and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct

  feasibility studies

  for upcoming hospitality projects, including hotels, resorts, and mixed-use developments.

• Collect and analyze

  market data

  , industry trends, demand-supply gaps, competitor benchmarks, and performance metrics.

• Prepare

  well-structured research reports

  , presentations, and executive summaries tailored for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, operations, finance) to translate research findings into actionable insights.

• Conduct

  desk research

  , interviews, and secondary data collection from credible sources (government databases, industry reports, etc.).

• Stay up-to-date on

  hospitality trends

  , new developments, and policy changes impacting the sector.

• Contribute to

  content development

  (whitepapers, blogs, insights) that reflect research-driven perspectives on hospitality and tourism.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in

  Journalism, Communications, Hospitality, Economics, Business, or a related field

  .

• 3+ years of

  experience in the hospitality industry

  – ideally in a role involving research, operations analysis, content writing or content strategy.

• Strong ability to

  write research papers, analytical reports, and professional content

  .

• Demonstrated experience in

  market research, data interpretation

  , and storytelling through data.

• Excellent command over

  written and verbal English

  .

• Proficiency in Canva

  for creating compelling visual reports and presentation materials.

• Working knowledge of

  AI tools like ChatGPT

  to assist in research, drafting, and idea generation.

• Proficiency in research tools (e.g., Statista, STR, Industry reports, etc.).

• Self-starter with a passion for

  hospitality, travel, and real estate development

  .

Preferred Qualifications:

• Published research papers, industry blogs, news articles or feasibility reports.

• Understanding of the

  hospitality sector, real estate economics

  tourism market dynamics

  .

• Familiarity with data tools like

  STR, HVS, CBRE reports
