This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, process discipline and adhering to quality, safety, cost and delivery metrics. Strong experience in setting up and managing CKD operations particularly and will embed a zero defect mindset and lean principles into every stage of vehicle assembly . Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing Operations-CKD: Lead CKD assembly operations including container receipt, parts warehousing, kitting, sequencing, line feeding, vehicle assembly at all stages and handing over of the finished Vehicle as per specifications defined. Quality Ownership: Drive a culture of first-time-right and zero-defect manufacturing. Safety, Compliance and Cost Control: Ensure all processes meet safety, Ergonomic, legal, and regulatory requirements. Strategic and Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, TPM, and 5S across CKD operations. Candidate: 18 to 20 yrs of experience with Engineering Graduate, postgraduation in Engineering and/ or Management preferred. Automotive /European Auto MNC with manufacturing in India preferably with exposure to CKD/SKD assembly manufacturing operations. Preferably conversant with overall Vehicle Manufacturing- Stamping, Welding and Painting. Good Knowledge on Vehicle testing- EOL and repairs. Strong international exposure thru visits related to launch of New vehicles in India. Deep knowledge of automotive quality systems: IATF 16949, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 standards and exposure of certification in the past. NABL Accreditation knowledge is good to have. Expertise in CKD/SKD inspection methods, dimensional analysis, and problem-solving tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA). Experience in customer quality interface, audits, and regulatory compliance -AIS(Automotive Industry Standards), BIS(Bureau of Indian Standards).
