Quality Head

1. Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure that all raw materials (bamboo sticks, powders, perfumes, gums, etc.) meet required quality standards.
  
• Monitor quality at every production stagestick preparation, mixing, rolling, drying, fragrance application, and packing.
  
• Implement and maintain

  incoming, in-process, and final inspection

  procedures.
• Approve final products before dispatch.
  

2. Process Improvement

• Identify quality issues and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
  
• Review and improve SOPs to enhance product consistency.
  
• Reduce rejections, wastage, and customer complaints through continuous improvement initiatives.
  

3. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain complete documentation—inspection reports, rejection reports, batch records, CAPA reports.
  
• Ensure compliance with statutory and industry standards (BIS standards, safety guidelines, and internal QA policies).
  
• Ensure calibration of testing instruments and maintain records.
  

4. Team Management

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team.
  
• Train workers and supervisors on quality standards, hygiene, and best practices.
  
• Conduct periodic internal audits and review team performance.
  

5. Vendor Quality Management

• Evaluate and approve new suppliers for raw materials.
  
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality consistency.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for material improvement or issue resolution.
  

6. Customer Complaint Handling

• Investigate customer complaints related to smoke, breakage, fragrance variation, burning issues, etc.
  
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  
• Communicate solutions to management and ensure issue closure.
  

7. Production Coordination

• Work closely with Production, R&D, and Purchase teams to maintain product quality.
  
• Ensure new product samples meet quality benchmarks before mass production.
  
• Monitor production parameters such as fragrance ratio, moisture content, drying time, and stick straightness.
  

8. Quality Metrics & Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production quality.
  
• Track KPIs such as rejection %, customer returns, process deviations, and inspection results.
  
• Present quality improvement plans to management.
  

9. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

• Ensure safety standards in perfume handling, chemical mixing, and storage areas.
  
• Monitor facility cleanliness and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
  
• Conduct safety drills and ensure PPE usage by staff.
