Deputy Manager - Process Quality

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Analyze process data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process control plans and procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for quality-related issues.
• Work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize processes for quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality performance metrics.
• Ensure all quality documentation complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Address customer complaints and concerns related to product quality.
• Raise QCAR at supplier end for any nonconformity observed, follow up with supplier for corrective action and horizontal deploy.
• Prepare and review documentation for PPAP in new parts and review existing PPAP to provide feedback to engineering to review Control plan & PFMEA
• Ensure that No Hold/NG material is left on the shop floor, must make sure the disposal of the Hold/NG material
• Make sure that all the material in incoming area/ shop floor/ inspection area/ hold area / quarantine area are clearly identified
• Ensure that Bin discipline is maintained for soft and hard components

Preferred candidate profile

Essential:

• Certification in Quality Management System
• Driveline/ Gears: Tier I/II Auto Component Manufacturing Companies, Supplier to major global OEMs, preferably Driveline business

• Six sigma Black Belt certified, VDA 6.3

• Understanding of Engineering Drawings
• TQM, TPM, Deming
• Metallurgy/ Material Science
• Statistical Process Control
• Proficient Communication and Written English

Desired:

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Program Management, Application Metrology
