Job Description

Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios for UPI transactions (P2P, P2M, P2PM, etc.)Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing of UPI systems and related APIsVerify NPCI specifications, compliance, and test cases for UPI featuresValidate backend transaction logs, reconciliation reports, and settlementsLog and manage bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla and work closely with development teams for resolutionParticipate in test planning, daily scrums, and status meetingsPerform database validations using SQL queries to verify backend data integrityCoordinate with external vendors (NPCI, payment gateways) during integration and certification testingPrepare test reports and metrics for stakeholders5+ years of experience in manual testing in the Banking or Payments domainHands-on experience testing UPI payment flows (registration, collect request, intent, QR scan, mandate, refund)Hands-on experience into CASAStrong knowledge of functional and system testingProficiency with SQL for database validationUnderstanding of UPI architecture, NPCI standards, and transaction flowsExperience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)Good communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExperience with API testing using Postman or similar toolsFamiliarity with mobile testing (Android/iOS) in banking/payment appsKnowledge of RBI/NPCI compliance requirementsISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
