Manual Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with a strong background in software quality assurance and a passion for delivering high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate will bring 3+ years of experience, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on expertise in test planning, execution, and defect analysis.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and usability of our applications by collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving test coverage, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage, including feature interaction and performance.
• Develop test plans for each release in collaboration with product and development teams.
• Perform API Testing, Performance Testing, Database Testing, and usability testing as part of the QA lifecycle.
• Document and maintain Test Plans, Test Strategy documents, and detailed defect reports.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers for defect resolution.
• Track and compare results across builds to generate periodic test reports.
• Enhance test coverage by identifying gaps and incorporating new scenarios.
• Conduct first-level defect analysis and lead efforts in root cause identification.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while mentoring new team members.
• Navigate and test complex workflows in large, modular project architectures.
• Apply black-box testing techniques for validating code and reference changes across dependent modules.
• Utilize end-to-end testing platforms (e.g., Playwright) for frontend and workflow testing.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience

   in manual testing and software QA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven expertise in 

  API, Performance, and Database Testing

  .
• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining Test Plans, Test Strategy documents, and test scripts.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with 

  end-to-end testing frameworks

   (Playwright preferred).
• Strong understanding of 

  black-box testing

   and reference impact analysis.
• Ability to understand complex business workflows and translate them into effective test coverage.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in fast-paced environments.
