Manual Test Engineer

As a Manual Software Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and usability of our web and mobile applications through meticulous manual testing methods. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and prior experience in software testing will be invaluable in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyse requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Perform manual testing for both web and mobile applications. - Identify, report, and track bugs utilizing tools such as JIRA or similar platforms. - Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. - Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA team members. - Participate actively in sprint planning sessions and daily stand-ups. - Verify that the software meets business requirements and standards before deployment. **Required Skills & Qualifications:** - 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing. - Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. - Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. - Knowledge of various types of testing such as Functional, Regression, and Smoke testing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. **Good to Have:** - Experience in testing Martech platforms, analytics tools, or campaign tracking systems. - Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, and introductory Automation skills in JAVA with Selenium. - Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman (optional).
