Manual Test Engineer

As a Manual Tester at Vish Gyana Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing business and technical requirements to create effective test cases and scenarios. - Performing manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure product quality. - Executing functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using standard tools like JIRA and Bugzilla. - Collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to resolve issues. - Participating in test planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups. - Ensuring compliance with QA processes and standards. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 3 to 6 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester. - Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. - Experience in writing and executing test cases, scenarios, and scripts. - Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools. - Good knowledge of database testing (SQL queries). - Experience in testing web and mobile applications. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. It would be beneficial if you have exposure to API testing using tools like Postman, basic knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium, and experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
