Position Overview
The Manpower Executive will be responsible for managing and supporting technician workforce-related processes for Sobha Constructions (SCL) and associated business units from an overseas back-office location. The role will focus on biometric enrolments, manpower file management, reporting, payroll support, and coordination with HR, Projects, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Biometric Enrolments (30%)
- Process
SCL rejoining technicians biometric activations
based on inputs from Project Timekeeper/Admin. - Carry out
new joiner biometric enrolments
in the Sprinter portal upon receipt of Employee ID from HR for COE, Infra, LLS, and SCI technicians. - Ensure daily compliance and timely completion of biometric enrolments.
2. SCL Master File Creation & Modification (30%)
- Maintain and update the
SCL Master File
with high accuracy and timeliness. - Record and update information for:
New Joiners
based on Employee ID and project allocation received from SOUs.Re-Joiners
– upon confirmation from Project Timekeeper/Admin.Transfers
– upon receipt of transfer mail.Exits/Resignations/NVR/Terminations
– based on clearance documents and confirmations from SOUs or HR.Special Cases
– Absconding, Sick Leave, Visa Medical, Passport Renewal, AL/EL updates, etc. as per notifications from relevant stakeholders.
3. Manpower Dashboard & Reports (20%)
- Prepare and circulate
Absenteeism Reports
for SCL technicians (as required). - Compile and share
daily manpower reports
covering SCL, supply, and subcontractor technicians. - Ensure data accuracy and timely circulation to concerned stakeholders.
4. Payroll Support (20%)
- Consolidate
SCL technicians’ payroll data
and submit to QAD for verification in the required format. - Prepare and share:
Project Cost Code (Xpedeon) file
with the Payroll team.Project Allocation file
with the Commercial team.
- Ensure adherence to monthly payroll timelines.
5. Additional HR & Reporting Support
HRIS/PS Coordination
: Share technician transfer data with IT for updates in PeopleStrong.TMS File Preparation
: Collect and compile data for TMS files for submission to MD’s office (monthly).Grading File Support
: Collect BU-level data to prepare grading/TMS files (quarterly for all employees and monthly for new joiners).
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in
HR operations/manpower management/back-office HR support
(construction/engineering industry preferred). - Strong knowledge of HR databases, reporting, and workforce management tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and HRMS/Payroll systems
- Excellent coordination, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage high-volume data with strict timelines.
