Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Fresher for the position of Mandi Buyer - Fruits and Vegetables, based in Kottayam. This full-time role involves sourcing quality fruits and vegetables while ensuring competitive pricing and availability. As a pivotal link between farmers and the retail supply chain, you will employ effective buying strategies to support our mission of providing superior products to our customers. Roles and Responsibilities Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for fruits and vegetables, negotiating the best pricing and quality terms. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities. Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and availability of products. Maintain robust relationships with farmers and vendors, fostering an environment of trust and continued business collaboration. Monitor the quality of sourced products, ensuring they meet the company’s standards and customer expectations. Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate records and compliance with the company’s procurement policies. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic buying initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. Support the implementation of cost-saving measures without compromising on quality. #LI-RG1
