Job Description

You will be joining a leading organization in the real estate industry as a Legal Manager/Senior Manager in the Legal & CS department. With 6-12 years of experience, preferably from a reputed law firm, you will be responsible for managing complex legal transactions, particularly in real estate, M&A, and debt investments. Your role will involve legal due diligence, litigation, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance. A strong understanding of corporate and sector-specific laws is crucial for this position, offering you the opportunity to thrive in a high-impact and fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently manage investments, divestments, and debt transactions across India - Support in legal due diligence and land title diligence - Provide legal advice and counsel across the business - Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts - Manage and oversee litigation, collaborating closely with external legal counsel when necessary **Qualifications Required:** - Experience: 6-12 years - Education Qualification: Law graduate from a premier university (additional qualification of CS/CA would be advantageous) - Preferred Background: Prior experience in a reputed law firm is essential - Strong experience in mergers & acquisitions, debt investments, private equity, and real estate - In-depth knowledge of corporate laws, securities law, foreign exchange laws, and sectoral laws related to real estate and infrastructure sectors - Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills - Positive attitude with a proactive, self-starter mindset - Strong leadership, team management, and accountability - Effective under pressure with strong interpersonal skills Please note that the company is a leading organization in the real estate industry, providing a challenging and rewarding work environment for individuals with the right skills and mindset.,
