Manager

VIDYA is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager to lead and manage its education and empowerment initiatives in Chennai. This role involves overseeing the VIDYA Centre of Excellence, coordinating school-based programs, and ensuring smooth implementation of training initiatives for youth and women from underprivileged communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the VIDYA Centre of Excellence
• Oversee English, computer literacy, and vocational training programs
• Coordinate with school-based programs and community outreach initiatives
• Supervise trainers, facilitators, volunteers, and support staff
• Handle mobilization drives, stakeholder engagement, and donor activities
• Monitor program outcomes, maintain documentation, and support evaluations
• Oversee administration, procurement, and center maintenance

Qualifications:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Education, or related fields
• 3–5 years of experience in program or center management, preferably in the development or education sector
• Proficiency in English and Tamil (spoken and written preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Competence in MS Office and report writing
