As part of our Destination Growth team, we are expanding our contracting strength to fuel the next phase of growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking highly driven Contracting Managers with proven expertise in direct contracting and strong existing relationships across the travel ecosystem. The ideal candidates will have deep connections with hotels, resorts, DMCs, and travel suppliers (both domestic and international), as well as established relationships with online platforms offering travel APIs. This role will focus on securing competitive rates, allocations, and value-added services to strengthen TripXL’s product portfolio and marketplace offerings.

Key Responsibilities

1. Direct Contracting & Negotiation

• Lead direct contracting with hotels, resorts, and DMCs across assigned destinations.
• Secure competitive rates, special offers, allocations, and favorable terms.
• Expand partnerships with online travel platforms, wholesalers, and API-based suppliers for seamless product integration.

2. Supplier Relationship Management

• Leverage existing strong industry relationships to onboard and grow supplier base.
• Maintain long-term partnerships through continuous engagement and performance-driven collaboration.
• Negotiate joint campaigns and promotions to increase visibility and value for both suppliers and TripXL.

3. Market Research & Destination Growth

• Conduct regular competitor benchmarking on rates, destinations, and offerings.
• Identify new destinations and emerging travel trends relevant to honeymooners, families, and international holiday travelers.
• Provide insights to support the growth of destination portfolios.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, and Tech teams to ensure smooth rate loading, supplier integration, and end-to-end utilization of contracted inventory.
• Support digital initiatives with accurate supplier data and destination inputs.

5. Compliance & Financials

• Negotiate favorable payment terms and contracting policies.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international contracting norms, legal, and taxation requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospitality, Travel, or Business Management.
• Experience: 10–15 years in direct contracting with hotels, resorts, DMCs, and online suppliers.
• Must have deep relationships with domestic and international suppliers and strong connections with API-based travel platforms/aggregators.
• Proven expertise in rate negotiation, supplier onboarding, and contract management.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to maximize margins.
• Excellent communication, relationship management, and networking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of travel CRM and API integration processes is an advantage.
