Essential Responsibilities: Support and develop strategic growth plans, oversee implementation of organic strategic initiatives, and other special projects for assigned business segment(s). This position is highly visible, which requires interaction with BPI Executive Management, Business Unit Management, and various departments throughout the BP APAC organization. Essential Responsibilities Gather and analyze information on industry/market trends specific to APAC Market Lead strategic planning process within assigned business segment(s), in coordination with business segment management and Finance Lead development, testing, and refinement of industry/market analysis, consisting of market size evaluation, competitor profiles, and general industry/market trend assessment Design and perform research projects that answer specific business problems or questions relative to business segment markets, products, and services Ensure alignment of corporate and business segment strategies and objectives Initiate, propose, develop, and assess new organic growth initiatives to advance business segment strategic priorities Lead and manage implementation of organic strategic initiatives; track and measure progress against key milestones and financial objectives, manage inter-departmental coordination, prioritize competing initiatives, and continually evaluate initiative strategic fit with evolving business segment priorities Regularly update business segment and corporate management, through formal presentation or informal discussion, and facilitate discussions to identify and evaluate strategic alternatives Support Strategic Operations M&A Team, as required on a limited basis, with market analysis and integration planning Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or relevant engineering discipline MBA Preferred A minimum of 2–5 years of industry experience is preferred, with a focus on Business Development, Strategic Planning, Strategy Consulting, Equity Research, Market Research, or other analytically intensive domains. Experience in the Power sector, Petrochemicals, Industrial Equipment, or Oil & Gas industries will be an added advantage. Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Strong knowledge and understanding of financial modeling, and business case development Show more Show less
