Job Description

Manager – Sales & Collection

Department: Sales & Collection

Location: Muktsar, Faridkot, Abohar, Malout, Fazilka

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Monitor sales team performance, provide guidance, and ensure achievement of individual goals.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to track performance and market trends.
  • Coordinate with marketing and operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Collection Management:

  • Oversee and manage accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection of payments.
  • Review the creditworthiness of customers and set appropriate credit limits.
  • Follow up with clients on overdue accounts and resolve payment issues diplomatically.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collections and outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts and minimize bad debts.

Team Leadership & Coordination:

  • Supervise sales and collection staff, providing training and performance feedback.
  • Coordinate between departments (sales, accounts, operations) for smooth workflow.
  • Drive a culture of accountability and customer focus within the team.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate regular MIS reports on sales performance and collection status.
  • Analyze customer payment patterns and recommend credit control measures.
  • Present periodic updates to management on sales growth and cash flow status.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2–10 years of experience in sales and collection management, preferably in NBFC
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management, and credit control.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
