Job Title: Manager - QA
Location: Limda
Reports to (Position): Divisonal head
Department/Function: Quality Assurance
Purpose of the Job:
This job is primarily responsible for creating a quality conscious environment in Limda Two Wheeler Plant by laying down processes and systems to ensure consistent and standard products and services and to maintain positive relations with Customers (OEM) proactively. Major Responsibilities:
1. Deployment of Customer Specific Requirement 2. Preparation for OEM Plant Approval based on the Requirement 3. Deployment of PPAP Requirements 4. Preparation of OSC with Imperfections criteria & deployment and periodic updation with New 5. Imperfections inclusion in the OSC 6. Evaluating Periodic MSA and Placing Competent Inspectors for Inspection and periodic training to the inspectors with the Imperfection master samples 7. Coordination with RIC team and understand & confirm the manufacturing oriented imperfections and collect imperfection samples for analysis 8. Effective closure of Customer Complaint with in the stipulated time line 9. Coordinate for implementation of Quality Improvement Projects for a. (External Indicators: Zero KM Complaint, Customer complaints, Field Failures) b. (Internal Indicators: Visual FTR%,DBM FTR% Improvement & Tyre Weight Variation reduction etc., .) 10. Deployment of Quality Management System 11. Compliance to Statutory and Regulatory Requirement 12. Coordinate for Internal and External audits for improving effectiveness of the Quality Management Systems 13. Systematically plan for Product, Process and System Audit 14. Process Capability Tracking on monthly basis for Key Parameters and Way forward actions 15. Ensure Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) related aspects in the department / section to be maintained as per the requirements 16. Ensure basic discipline, safety standards, house keeping being maintained Skills:
1. People Management 2. Communication Skills 3. Leadership skill 4. Delegation & team work Relevant Experience: 7-10 years
