Job Description

Role Overview: You will play an integral role in accounting advisory services provided to PwC clients. As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include developing new skills outside of your comfort zone, resolving issues that prevent the team from working effectively, coaching others, recognizing their strengths, and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development. You will also analyze complex ideas or proposals, use data and insights to inform conclusions, and develop a point of view on key global trends that impact clients. Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct will be crucial in your role. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrating a thorough level of knowledge and advising multinational, publicly-traded companies and private firms on complex transactions involving technical accounting, financial reporting, operational policies, processes, and procedures - Reviewing treasury operations and providing insights to help clients navigate change within their organizations - Performing analyses, research, and documenting complex and emerging accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting topics - Identifying and addressing client needs, actively participating in client discussions and meetings, and managing engagements effectively - Building and maintaining client relationships, mentoring staff, managing a small team, and coordinating internal teams and tasks across various functions - Playing a role in discussions, proactively asking questions, sharing an informed point of view, and delivering quality work under tight schedules Qualification Required: - Qualified CA, CFA, CPA, or a Masters degree in Finance - Minimum of 3-6 years of accounting advisory related work experience - Proficient in MS Excel, with knowledge of or interest in learning VBA and Python - Strong accounting, hedging, and analytical skills - Fluent in English with strong communication skills - Ability to work effectively with 3rd parties and manage deliverables and feedback processes - Strong team player, flexible, and able to adapt to changing situations Additional Details: - Bachelors in finance/Accounting/Economics with focus on valuation methods (B. Com) along with following certifications: CA, CFA (US) - Work Experience ranges from 3-6 years, preferably in Big 4s, similar experience in Financial Services Companies / Investment Banks/Credit Rating Agencies specifically in controllership profiles - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and good understanding of corporate financial statements and various types of securities - Commitment to continuous training and proactive learning of new processes - Demonstrated self-motivation and a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development,
