Job Description

Role Summary: The Manager – Marketplace Strategy & Execution supports the planning and end-to-end execution of third-party marketplace and e-retail performance across key Anchor Markets. It focuses on platforms such as Shopee, Lazada, Amazon SG, Nykaa, Flipkart, and Guardian Online, enabling growth through country sales teams, agency partners, and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Channel Coordination Develop and align marketplace strategies with local Sales & Trade Managers to meet country-specific goals. Serve as the key interface between HQ and market teams for campaign, product, and content rollouts. Coordinate with e-commerce agencies in local markets for in-platform promotions and media performance. Campaign Planning & Execution Lead campaign calendar planning across key online sales platforms and promotional seasons. Work with brand and digital teams to adapt creative and toolkits for local platform requirements. Partner with platform category managers to secure visibility placements, promos, and feature slots. Operational Enablement Monitor and resolve backend operations issues: price accuracy, stock availability, catalog hygiene, listing compliance. Coordinate with internal supply, digital ops, and agency teams for smooth marketplace functioning. Support timely updates for new launches, promotions, and pricing changes. Performance Monitoring & Insights Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as gross merchandise value (GMV), click-through rate (CTR), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rate, out-of-stock (OOS) rates, and return ratios. Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to internal and local market stakeholders. Analyze trends and recommend improvements in execution and ROI. Innovation & Governance Stay updated on platform innovation (live selling, bundling, affiliate features) and explore pilots where relevant. Support basic content governance across platforms to ensure brand consistency and quality. Assist in managing and tracking co-funded budgets and promotional spend with agency partners. Ideal Candidate Profile: 2–4 years of experience in marketplace or e-retail operations within FMCG, Beauty, Wellness, or Health categories Experience managing or coordinating with Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, or equivalent platforms Strong project management skills with the ability to balance operational detail and commercial outcomes Data-savvy and comfortable with Excel, dashboards, and tracking tools Excellent coordination, agency management, and multitasking abilities Show more Show less
