Manager – Logistics & Shipping

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing logistics team in India, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Oversee and ensure prompt placement of order bookings and on-time dispatch of shipments.
• Manage vendor documentation and ensure timely submission of all required export/import documents.
• Monitor KPIs and present performance updates in weekly global logistics reviews.
• Maintain proactive communication with forwarders and customers to prevent delays.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

• 10+ years of logistics & shipping experience in the garments/apparel industry.

• Proven experience managing forwarders for Europe/US markets.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, invoicing, and compliance.
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to independently manage shipping operations.
• Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
