Knowcraft Analytics Private Limited is looking for a highly motivated candidate with relevant experience in the field of US Valuations. As a Manager, we are seeking a candidate with the following skill set.

SERVICE TYPE/EXPERIENCE

• Working knowledge of the below will have a preference:
• Portfolio Valuations/ Fair Value Measurements (ASC 820)
• Equity Incentive Awards (ASC 718 and IRC 409A)
• Business Combinations (ASC 805)
• Goodwill Impairment (ASC 350/360)
• Embedded Derivatives (ASC 815)
• Gift Estate Tax Valuations
Experience of leading a team and independently managing clients and projects

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning, organizing, conducting, and managing various valuation engagements.
• Excellent communication skills are required for interacting with clients, auditors, and partners.
• Managing a team while being accountable for the weekly progression and reporting of the engagement to the respective account head in the team.
• Responsible and accountable for quality control and accuracy of deliverables.
• Oversees multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Works collaboratively with the team and is a positive contributor to the firm’s culture.
• Participates in firmwide initiatives and contributes to the firm’s growth.
• Leads, trains, and mentors the team, typically comprising assistant associate managers, senior analysts, analysts /associates; and
• Planning for internal and external training for the team’s personal and professional development.

QUALIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• MBA (Premier B-School).
• Add-on: M.S. (Finance), C.A. and/or CFA (CFA Institute, US); and
• Certifications including CVA, ASA, and/or ABV preferred Eligibility criteria.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Minimum 6-8 years of total experience (with a minimum of 5 years of business valuation experience);
• Experience of working in the Big Four’s valuation team or in a leading valuation firm will have a preference.
• Ability to manage one or more clients and clients’ accounts.
• Proven experience in managing individuals and carrying out an independent review of tasks performed by the team.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Ability to effectively communicate with the team, seniors, and clients; and
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and presentation skills.
