Senior Payroll Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Payroll & Compliance HR Executive to manage payroll operations and ensure statutory compliance with Indian labor laws. The role involves handling end-to-end payroll processing, statutory filings, audits, and supporting HR functions related to employee compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time using HRMS/payroll software.
• Validate attendance, leave, and overtime data.
• Manage salary revisions, bonuses, and full & final settlements.
• Generate payslips, Form 16, and other payroll-related documents.

Statutory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity, and other labor laws.
• File monthly, quarterly, and annual returns with relevant authorities.
• Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections.
• Stay updated with changes in labor laws and implement necessary changes.

HR Operations Support:

• Assist in onboarding and exit formalities related to payroll and compliance.
• Address employee queries related to salary, tax, and benefits.
• Coordinate with finance and external auditors for payroll reconciliation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• MBA degree in HR, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in payroll and compliance in an Indian organization.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory regulations.
• Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Zing HR or any other).
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Payroll or Labor Law Compliance.
• Experience in handling payroll for 200+ employees.
• Exposure to internal and external audits.
