As an experienced candidate with a background in hospital IT support, your role at GHC Hospitals will involve various responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and manage corporate email accounts for staff. - Provide support for mailing clients such as Outlook and Thunderbird. - Install, configure, and troubleshoot antivirus software, MS Office, and other essential applications. - Troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware issues. - Perform operating system installations and troubleshooting, primarily focusing on Windows OS. - Set up and troubleshoot network printers and scanners. - Conduct timely patch management for all end-user devices. - Maintain updated inventories of IT assets and software licenses. - Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity problems. - Ensure minimal downtime for all application and hardware platforms. - Monitor and maintain the hospital-wide IT infrastructure. - Support electronic health record (EHR/HIS) systems, PACS, and other clinical software. - Manage and coordinate all telecommunication services and billing. - Liaise with vendors and service providers for repairs, service renewals, and hardware procurement. - Implement cybersecurity protocols to ensure data protection compliance. - Monitor antivirus updates, firewall configurations, and security patches. - Provide on-site IT support to doctors, nurses, and admin staff. - Train staff on basic IT operations and software usage.
