Manager - IT

Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Administration & Operations

• Manage and maintain enterprise software systems such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, and ticketing tools.
• Oversee daily software operations, including upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance.
• Configure workflows, user roles, access controls, and data fields as per business needs.
• Monitor software performance and ensure high availability, security, and scalability.

2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Act as a subject matter expert and escalation point for software-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents in collaboration with internal IT teams and vendors.
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) for user requests and incidents.

3. User Training & Engagement

• Conduct training sessions and prepare user manuals and documentation.
• Support end-users across departments for efficient usage of business applications.
• Collect user feedback to identify improvement areas and enhance usability.

4. Compliance & Security

• Ensure all software systems comply with IT security and data protection standards.
• Support audits by providing relevant reports, logs, and access controls.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices in software usage and configuration.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of software configurations, change logs, issue resolutions, and vendor contacts.
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and status updates for management.

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with software vendors and service providers for support, enhancements, and renewals.
• Participate in software evaluations, licensing, and procurement processes.

7. Strategic Projects

• Lead or participate in digital transformation and automation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for software improvements to support manufacturing and supply chain functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QC, SCM, HR, Finance, etc.) for seamless process integration.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Technical Exposure:

• ERP Systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar)
• CRM, HRMS, and Service Management tools (e.g., Zoho, Freshdesk, ServiceNow)
• Database Management & Reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Cybersecurity practices and risk assessment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum

  10+ years

  of experience in software administration or IT support roles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Self-driven with a proactive approach to learning and troubleshooting.

Desirable Traits:

• Experience in a

  manufacturing or chemical industry

  environment.
• Understanding of production planning, inventory management, and quality control processes from a software perspective.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GMP) and audit requirements.
