Manager - IT

Role & responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management

• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems supporting diagnostic operations.
• Manage network architecture, storage, virtualization, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Cloud (Azure) Administration

• Lead migration and optimization of workloads to Microsoft Azure.
• Manage Azure services including Virtual Machines, Networking, Security Center, and Identity Management.
• Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud resource utilization.

• IT Security & Compliance

• Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Implement security controls for data protection, access management, and threat prevention.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and diagnostics industry regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.).
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and incident response planning.

• Team Leadership & Vendor Management

• Lead and mentor IT infrastructure and security teams.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Oversee procurement and lifecycle management of IT assets.

• Strategic Planning

• Align IT infrastructure and security strategy with organizational goals.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports for IT operations and projects.
• Drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies relevant to diagnostics.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience:

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure and security roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications
• ITIL Foundation
