Job Description

Role Overview:

blue-collar workforce management

Key Responsibilities:

1. Workforce Planning & Hiring

  • Lead

    blue-collar and frontline hiring

    through direct and vendor channels across warehouses and delivery centers.
  • Drive

    manpower forecasting

    in alignment with business volume and seasonal trends.
  • Ensure effective vendor management for staffing agencies and manpower supply partners.
  • Monitor recruitment turnaround time and ensure availability of manpower as per business needs.

2. HR Operations & Payroll

  • Oversee

    attendance management, payroll inputs, and compliance

    for large workforce across multiple locations.
  • Validate and process payroll-related data for both on-roll and off-roll employees.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.) with vendor and internal teams.
  • Conduct HR audits for vendor partners and manpower agencies to ensure adherence to company standards.

3. Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Design and execute

    employee engagement initiatives

    to enhance motivation and retention.
  • Partner with business leaders to address employee relations, grievances, and workplace issues.
  • Drive reward & recognition programs, employee welfare initiatives, and communication plans.

4. Business Partnering & Strategic HR

  • Act as a strategic HR partner for warehouse and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with functional heads to address workforce challenges and HR priorities.
  • Provide data-driven insights on attrition, attendance, and manpower productivity.
  • Support organizational change and process improvement initiatives.

5. Learning & Development (Optional)

  • Identify training needs for warehouse staff and coordinate skill enhancement programs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong experience in

    blue-collar hiring

    and managing

    large manpower (1,000+ workforce)

    .
  • Proficiency in

    vendor and manpower agency management

    .
  • In-depth knowledge of

    payroll processing

    and

    statutory compliance

    .
  • Hands-on exposure to

    warehouse HR operations

    and distributed workforces.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work with HR dashboards and MIS.
