Channel Sales Manager (Channels to handle: IFAs & MFD, Wealth Management and Banks for alternative investment products)Abans Investment Managers Pvt Ltd (www.abansim.com) is subsidiary of Abans Holdings Limited (www.abans.co.in listed on BSE and NSE). Abans Holdings Limited (AHL) houses the financial services business of Abans group which is promoted by Mr Abhishek Bansal from whose name brand Abans is derived. AHL has NBFC in India, Broking business in India, Broking business in London and Asset Management license in Mauritius. AHL registered consolidated networth of Rs. 1,000 Cr as on March 2024 and has strong strength of 200+ professionals working for it. In 2019, Abans Investment Managers (AIM) was set up to manage money for external investors focusing on alternative investment products. AIM currently offers Structured Products/Market Linked Debentures, Off-shore investments (Abans Global Arbitrage Opportunities Fund), Portfolio Management Service. As of July 2024, AIM had Rs. 820 Cr AUM across all investment products which is sourced through channel sales across Banks, Wealth Management Firms and IFA/MFDs. In July 2024, AIMPL also raised its series A funding and was valued at Rs. 150 Cr. Roles and Responsibilities: Responsible for channel sales of investment products through IFAs and MFDs, Wealth Firms and Banking ChannelPreferably should have strong network of IFAs in the assigned geography to offer products and solutions across asset classes.Clear understanding of markets and products is a must. Distributor training is integral part of the role.Formulating sales strategy to enhance sales from new channel partners and increasing wallet share from existing partners.Support other channel partners local staff such as banks and wealth management firms.Maintaining long-term relationships with existing/new clients for increasing the Asset under Management (AUM) for the company Skills and Qualifications required: 4-8 years of Sales experience with any mutual fund company in channel sales of mutual funds for IFA/MFD channel. Wealth Managers with strong inclination to achieve sales through channel partners may also applyShould have strong inclination towards financial markets and product knowledge. Should have good communication & presentation skillsPleasing and positive attitudeShould be a self-starter, proactive & target oriented
