Manager - Factory Digitalization

Key Accountabilities

• Digital Roadmap for the Factories/Operations:

  Develop and execute a targeted digitalization roadmap specifically for our factory operations. Identify and prioritize projects that will improve efficiency, quality, and safety on the production line.

• Technology Implementation:

  Lead the integration and deployment of

  Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT)

  devices, sensors, and data collection systems on the shop floor.
• Oversee the implementation of

  Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

  and other software that digitizes production workflows.

• Process Automation:

  Identify opportunities for automation to enhance productivity. Work with engineering and production teams to implement these solutions seamlessly.
• Work with stakeholders to

  define business and systems requirements

  for new technology implementations.

• Operational Excellence:

  Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to understand challenges and co-create digital solutions that enhance their work. Drive a culture of continuous improvement through technology.

• Vendor Management:

  Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors specializing in industrial automation and factory digitalization. Ensure that new technologies are compatible with our existing infrastructure.
• Overseeing the

  collection, management, storage and protection of data

  from across the manufacturing, operations, maintenance, quality etc. work closely with the corporate IT department for Implementing data privacy policy and comply with data protection regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience:

• Minimum of

  15 years of experience

  in a manufacturing or plant-based role, with direct involvement in digitalization projects.
• Hands-on experience with

  SCADA

  (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems,

  PLCs

  (Programmable Logic Controllers), and industrial networks.
• Proven track record of managing projects from a pilot phase to full-scale implementation in a factory setting.
