Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BI/Analytics Specialist with 6–10 years of experience to support data-driven decision-making through advanced data analysis, visualization, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, SQL, and data wrangling techniques, along with a foundational understanding of statistics and Python. Experience with Business Objects and knowledge of DB2/UDB is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau Desktop.
- Perform data wrangling and exploratory data analysis to uncover insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and adhere to user requirements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Apply basic statistical techniques to support analytical tasks.
- Utilize Python for basic data manipulation and analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting solutions.
- Support integration with Business Objects (preferred).
- Work with DB2 and/or Universal Database (UDB) for data access and management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Tableau Desktop (Required).
- Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
- Experience with data wrangling and exploratory data analysis.
- Ability to understand and document user requirements.
- Basic analytical comprehension and statistical acumen.
- Basic Python programming skills.
- Knowledge of DB2 and/or Universal Database (UDB).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Business Objects.
- Certification in Tableau or other BI tools.
- Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes.
