Job Description

Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and ElectronicsPreferred Industry : Gear Manufacturing industryExperience: 10-15 years

Main Task

Electrical Design & Development:
  • Overseeing the design of electrical hardware,including switchgear, sensors, power supplies, and control systems.
  • Developing and integrating control systems for machine tools, including PLC programming (Ladder,FBD, SCL) and HMI development.
  • Ensuring proper selection of electrical components,including PLCs, HMIs, I/O modules, VFDs, and motors, Drives and CNC controller
  • Creating and reviewing electrical line diagrams and schematics.

Troubleshooting & Commissioning

  • Leading on-site activities such as machine commissioning and troubleshooting electrical issues.
  • Diagnosing and resolving problems related to PLC programming, HMI interfaces, and other electrical components.

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Managing and mentoring a team of automation engineers.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, etc.) during the design and development process.
  • Working with vendors for component sourcing and technical support.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensuring adherence to relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures for electrical systems.

Automation & Networking

  • Working with various automation communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet).
  • Integrating machine tools into plant networks.

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in PLC programming, HMI development, and electrical hardware design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and their applications in machine tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in team management and project leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
