AB InBev India is looking to hire Manager Communications for its Corporate Affairs team based out Bengaluru.


Function: Corporate Affairs

Experience: 3-5 years in Communications (PR Agency or Corporate Communications)


Brief Summary

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented communications professional to join AB InBev India’s Corporate Affairs team based in our Bangalore hub office. This role will support the delivery of our integrated communications—both internal and external—designed to shape our corporate narrative, build brand love, and foster engagement across stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in media or journalism, strong storytelling instincts, and a basic understanding of social media strategy.

You will work closely with senior leaders to manage internal routines and conferences, offer strategic communications counsel, and develop content that resonates with internal and external audiences.



Job Responsibilities

Internal Communications

· Design and execute internal communication strategies in alignment with business priorities.

· Draft clear, engaging content for various internal channels (intranet, newsletters etc)

· Serve as a key liaison for internal leadership communications.

· Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and senior management for campaign alignment and planning.

· Lead in organizing and executing internal leadership events and business routines.

External Communications

· Provide day-to-day PR support across Corporate and Brand communications

· Support media relation efforts and work in collaborating with the PR agency to draft talk points, briefing documents, profiles etc

· Partner with external agencies to ensure high-quality storytelling and media engagement.

· Track and report media coverage; evaluate the effectiveness and impact of PR campaigns.

· Coordinate with teams to ensure external messaging aligns across earned and owned channels.

· Support development and review of content for corporate social media handles including reactive, proactive posts tied to business milestones, thought leadership, and reputation moments.

· Stay updated on trends, key conversations, and competitor activity on social media to help inform communications strategy.



Key Skillsets

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to confidently manage stakeholders at all levels.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills—including storytelling, editing, and presentation.

· Comes from a media background with a basic understanding of digital media.

· Deep understanding of social & digital media platforms; how to leverage them in corporate communications.

· Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

· Proactive, agile, and collaborative team player with a high level of ownership.

· Strong planning, project management, and multitasking abilities.

· Creative thinker with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.


Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.

· 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or media, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or related industries.

· Proven track record in managing media relations, internal communications, and social media

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional Indian languages is a plus.

· Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
