Job Description: Manager-Brand Management at Wearables

Overview:
Titan, a leading company in the wearables industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager-Brand Management to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with a passion for brand management and a deep understanding of the wearables market.
This role will be responsible for the marketing communication plan and execution for the entire tech portfolio under the brand Titan and Fastrack.
The key responsibilities involve anchoring extensive research on consumer segments for SMART W&W category and devising brand strategy, liaising with key stakeholders including sales & VM team, pricing and performance monitoring of the products.
The segment will cover – Tech portfolio of brand Titan, Fastrack & Zoop (including Wearable, Hearable, etc.)
Strategy development: Annual operating plan:
Provide the right inputs with regard to the annual operating budget, case mix, revenue, responsible for the consolidated product calendar encompassing the product & brand plan in line with the business strategy based on the market, consumer and previous trends.
Rejig the plan based on the approvals from the board and top management and cascade the same to the stakeholders.
Product Management: Go to Market Strategy:
Determine the Go to Market plan viz. branding, naming, collaterals, packaging, etc. of the developed product and ensure it is executed as per the strategy.
Liaison with the visual merchandising team for visual merchandising brief of VM team, review of the design concept and prototypes at various stages and ensure the installation as per the plan.
Ensure training to the entire ecosystem on the new launches.
Product Management: Portfolio Management:
Analyse the performance of newly introduced products and the existing product portfolio to optimize the inventory based on performance and potential.
Provide recommendations on the products basis the product performance for incremental product improvements and dropping of poor performing SKUs.
Provide inputs for the periodic modifications in the price of the products basis the market analysis, competitor analysis, inflation, product performance and business requirements.
Recommend discounting pricing mechanism in liaison with the sales team for the portfolio basis the product performance and business environment.
Recommend the inventory plan for various products and sign off of on the production plan aligned to the product calendar and business requirements.
Ensure that the inventory is available at the right time across channels as per the plan and undertake appropriate actions to ensure the same.
Product Management: Product Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the performance of the newly introduced products and the existing product portfolio for optimizing inventory.
Provide recommendations on the products basis the product performance for incremental product improvements and dropping of poor performing SKUs.
Provide inputs on the activation plans, ensure the execution of the plan to boost the sales especially for poor performing products.
Brand Management: Branding and Digital Marketing plan:
Define the band positioning among the target consumers and lead the briefing of the agencies (creative, media, digital, etc.) for developing the plan to achieve the brand objectives.
Evaluate the plan developed by the agencies and provide inputs to refine the plan to ensure the plan is robust to meet the envisaged objectives.
Finalize the plan, provide required approval post agreement on the budget and allocate the budget for each campaign.
Ensure the execution of the branding initiatives periodically as per the finalized plan and provide appropriate recommendations on the branding initiatives.
Brand Management: Performance Monitoring:
Monitor the performance of the branding initiatives / campaigns periodically and recommend necessary course corrections if mandated.
Review the evaluation of the vendors / agencies basis their performance and recommend appropriate actions.
Vendor Identification and management:
Finalize on the identified vendors basis their offerings, capabilities to partner with the firm.
Negotiate with the vendors on the rates within the recommended price range & empanel the vendors as per the recommended guidelines.
Periodically evaluate the vendor on the performance against the agreed statement of work for and determine contract renewal / continuation decisions.
Work Experience
Education: MBA from a premier institute preferably in marketing.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Marketing.
