Position Overview

The MIS Officer will be responsible for managing data-related processes and systems under Project Udaan Phase 2. The role demands strong technical expertise in data handling, analysis, and visualization, along with effective communication and documentation skills to support project reporting, planning, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage project-specific data collection and monitoring systems.
• Regularly collect, edit, validate, and update program data.
• Analyse data and generate timely, insightful reports for internal use and donor reporting.
• Create dashboards for data visualizations to present progress and trends.
• Manage digital tools such as Kobo Toolbox, Survey CTO, or other data platforms.
• Support project team in developing and maintaining MIS protocols.
• Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Conduct field visits to monitor data collection processes and verify data accuracy based on project needs.
• Prepare case studies, documentation, and presentations as required.
• Ensure data confidentiality and security protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or related fields).

Required Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially

  Advanced Excel

  (pivot tables, lookup functions, dashboards, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with data collection tools like

  Kobo Toolbox

  ,

  Survey CTO

  , etc.
• Strong knowledge of data management, analysis, and visualization techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the development sector or related field preferred.
