About the Udaan Project Project Udaan Phase 2 is focused on supporting children from the Dalit and Musahar communities to access quality education and holistic development. Vision: To build a society where adolescent girls from marginalized communities have equal opportunities to access quality education, healthcare, and leadership development, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and discrimination . Mission: Udaan aims to empower 4,000 adolescent girls from Dalit and Musahar communities aged 10-19 by ensuring access to higher education, healthcare, and skill development. The program works to prevent child marriage, promote gender equality, enhance leadership capacities, and provide vocational training to school dropouts, ultimately fostering self-reliance and social change. Position Overview The MIS Officer will be responsible for managing data-related processes and systems under Project Udaan Phase 2. The role demands strong technical expertise in data handling, analysis, and visualization, along with effective communication and documentation skills to support project reporting, planning, and monitoring. Key Responsibilities Design and manage project-specific data collection and monitoring systems. Regularly collect, edit, validate, and update program data. Analyse data and generate timely, insightful reports for internal use and donor reporting. Create dashboards for data visualizations to present progress and trends. Manage digital tools such as Kobo Toolbox, Survey CTO, or other data platforms. Support project team in developing and maintaining MIS protocols. Coordinate with field teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry. Conduct field visits to monitor data collection processes and verify data accuracy based on project needs. Prepare case studies, documentation, and presentations as required. Ensure data confidentiality and security protocols are followed. Qualifications Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or related fields). Required Skills Proficiency in MS Office, especially Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions, dashboards, etc.). Hands-on experience with data collection tools like Kobo Toolbox , Survey CTO , etc. Strong knowledge of data management, analysis, and visualization techniques. Effective verbal and written communication skills in Hindi and English. Strong documentation and reporting skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The program focuses on expanding adolescent girls' collectives, enabling access to government schemes, and promoting youth-led campaigns and advocacy around child marriage prevention, education, and community development. Position Overview: The Program Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding Jan Vikas Sansthan’s adolescent empowerment efforts in Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh. This role is designed to drive the formation and strengthening of youth and girls’ collectives across 30–45 Gram Panchayats by mentoring 15 Peer Leaders. The Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring that these peers become active agents of change—raising voices against child marriage, promoting girls’ education, and improving community access to government schemes and entitlements. The position demands a hands-on leader with strong programmatic, community mobilization, and capacity-building skills, rooted in a gender-equitable and rights-based approach.
