Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician (Diploma Holder) to handle the preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of machinery in a fully mechanised manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with machine troubleshooting, repair, and documentation, ensuring minimum downtime and smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventive Maintenance:
• Execute routine preventive maintenance as per the schedule on all mechanical equipment.
• Maintain checklists and logs of preventive tasks.
• Breakdown Maintenance:
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues in production machines (e.g., conveyors, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems).
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve machinery issues promptly.
• Machine Installation & Commissioning:
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new machines and mechanical systems.
• Spare Management:
• Monitor critical spare parts and raise indent for procurement as required.
• Maintain inventory of mechanical spares and tools.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and machine history.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports and update machine downtime logs.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Follow standard safety practices and company SOPs during all maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, 5S, and other factory standards.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for frequent breakdowns.
• Suggest improvements for machine reliability and performance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong mechanical aptitude in handling motors, gear drives, and pneumatics.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer skills for documentation (MS Excel, maintenance software if applicable).

Qualification:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.

Preferred Industries:

• FMCG, Auto Components, Food Processing, Packaging, or any continuous manufacturing setup.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,836.85 - ₹17,000.00 per month
