Maintenance Engineer

• Carry out preventive maintenance of all mechanical equipment as per schedule.
• Attend breakdowns and restore machines with minimum downtime.
• Perform daily inspections of critical mechanical components and systems.
• Monitor equipment for abnormal vibration, noise, leakage, or overheating.
• Maintain daily maintenance logs and breakdown reports.
• Update and manage history cards and service records of all machines.
• Ensure availability and proper storage of critical spare parts.
• Coordinate with stores/purchase department for spares procurement.
• Perform condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Modify machines and equipment for performance enhancement.
• Support production department by ensuring machine readiness and reliability.
• Follow safety standards and ensure safe work practices during all jobs.
• Conduct risk assessments before executing maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, and environmental requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
• Participate in root cause analysis of repeated mechanical failures.
• Suggest and implement improvements to reduce maintenance cost and downtime.
• Maintain utility equipment such as chillers, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with electrical and production teams for joint maintenance activities.
• Train, mentor, and support junior technicians and helpers.
• Follow 5S practices in maintenance workshops and shop floor areas.
• Participate actively in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
• Handle mechanical emergencies during off-hours, if required.
• Maintain all maintenance-related ISO/IMS documentation.
• Support internal/external audit requirements and maintain calibration logs.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in proper working condition.
• Carry out proper lubrication, alignment, and balancing of moving parts.
• Strive to maintain maximum machine uptime and reduce unplanned stoppages.
• Coordinate with external vendors for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service calls.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
