We are seeking a passionate and experienced Module Lead/QA Tester to support a critical project for one of our largest clients in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and a proven track record in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement automation test plans to ensure successful execution.
• Conduct automation demonstrations and walkthroughs for client teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth QA delivery throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Supervise data and environment coordination for testing activities.
• Lead automation meetings, providing accurate and timely status updates to the project team.
• Coordinate schedules for builds and fixes, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Work independently and manage the QA team in an Agile environment.
• Engage in hands-on test automation framework design, development, and implementation within a DevOps context.
• Utilize Java and Spring Boot for testing purposes, with a focus on backend processing and green screens.
• Leverage knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and analysis.

Mandatory Skills:

• Expertise in Mainframe testing with CICS.
• Proficient in testing backend processing and green screens.
• Experience with MQueue Testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile processes, including sprints and story points.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• QA Certification (specific certification type preferred).
• Ability to resolve technical issues and explore alternative designs.
• Experience in settlements processes relevant to Capital Markets.
• Hands-on experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
• Familiarity with Enterprise COBOL is a deal breaker.
