Job Description:
As an experienced Software Engineer working for our leading client, you serve as member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. Depending on the team that you join, you could be developing mobile features that give our customers and clients more control over how they bank with the client, strategizing on how big data can make client's trading systems quicker, creating the next innovation in payments for merchants, or supporting the integration of client's private and public cloud platforms.
Design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Mainframe tech to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
1. Good hands-on of Project Development using Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2,
2. Excellent experience in IMS DB or Assembler or PL1 or CICS
3. Sound knowledge about Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)
3. Good analysis and problem solving skills
4. Ability to understand complex requirements and assist the team in creating designs
5. Test Data Management ensuring a high degree of test coverage and providing the right data, in the right quantity
6. Good to have intelligent data masking, data management practices and deliver end-to-end traceability of test data.
7. Agile and DevOps integration, providing self-service data capability
8. Understanding of Data profile exercises and Refresh data where needed
1. Working knowledge on Micro Focus Unit Testing Framework
2. Awareness on Deploying COBOL Applications
