Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Institutional Interface

  • Assist the CEO as a point of contact for FADA Members
  • Assist the CEO in liaising with Central and State Government departments, regulators, and policymakers on issues impacting automobile retail
  • Build trust-based relationships with FADA members, State Chapters, and Governing Council members to ensure member delight and institutional credibility

2. Strategy, Planning & CEO Office Support

  • Partner with the CEO in defining and driving FADA’s strategic vision, annual plans, and priority initiatives
  • Convert strategic intent into structured workplans, KPIs, and execution dashboards
  • Apply a consultative problem-solving approach—from problem definition and hypothesis building to data analysis and solution design
  • Prepare briefing notes, review decks, internal strategy papers, and leadership communications for the CEO

3. Member Services, Policy & Regulatory Support

  • Oversee resolution of complex member queries relating to CMVR, GST, taxation, registration, compliance, and legal matters
  • Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsels, and external experts to ensure timely, consistent, and defensible guidance
  • Develop standard advisories, playbooks, FAQs, and compliance frameworks for national dissemination

4. Advocacy, Writing & Representation Excellence

  • Lead and co-author policy representations, legislative proposals, consultation responses, white papers, and industry reports
  • Assist the CEO in drafting speeches, media responses, and high-level correspondence
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and authority in FADA’s written and verbal positions across forums

5. Business Development, Research & Intelligence

  • Articulate FADA’s value proposition to partners, sponsors, and institutions—financially and strategically
  • Champion the development of innovative research, market intelligence, and data-driven insights
  • Oversee qualitative and quantitative research, market sizing, and analytical outputs that inform advocacy and member decision-making

6. Events, Publications & Brand Building

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of flagship events, summits, conclaves, training programs, and state-level initiatives
  • Ensure high quality, consistency, and commercial viability of FADA events and publications
  • Drive collaboration opportunities with external organisations, think tanks, and partners

7. Research, Marketing, Communications & Digital Strategy

  • Provide strategic oversight to research, marketing, communications, and social media teams
  • Shape and drive FADA’s narrative across LinkedIn, newsletters, WhatsApp, media releases, and digital platforms
  • Ensure a comprehensive communication strategy that keeps members informed, engaged, and aligned

8. Talent & Organisational Leadership

  • Lead talent strategy covering hiring, development, performance management, and succession planning
  • Mentor team leads and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate and contribute to the efficient functioning and governance of the FADA Office
